Analytics & insights
Insights (sidebar → Analyze → Insights) unifies performance data from your connected platforms into one per-account view, so you can see what's actually working and decide what to change. Pick an account from the header, choose a 30- or 90-day window, and read top to bottom.
What we track
Each published post accumulates metrics as the platforms report them: likes, comments, shares, saves, reach, impressions, and views. Not every platform exposes every metric — a metric the platform doesn't share renders N/A with a tooltip saying so, and platforms with no insights API at all (Discord, Telegram, Google Business) won't appear with data. See the capability matrix.
Disconnected accounts drop out of the view; reconnecting re-imports without duplicates (rows are deduplicated per platform post).
Sync
Sync in the ⋯ menu pulls fresh data for the account — by default the last 90 days of posts. The first sync can take a minute; a banner shows progress. Manual syncs are capped per account per rolling 24 hours (default 3 — failed runs count too), and a 5-minute background refresh keeps stale accounts current without touching your manual budget.
One platform quirk worth knowing: TikTok's API only returns analytics for public videos — a private account's posts will never appear, and Insights says exactly that.
The report
For the selected account and window:
- Channel strip — avatar, name, follower count, plus shortcuts: Deep analysis → the AI Analyzer, and Manage account.
- Learning loop — three columns that turn the numbers into next actions: what worked (your strongest tone and format), next experiment (a concrete suggestion with your best slot so far), and decision needed (flagged when an active goal is behind pace, with shortcuts to ideation, goals, and account settings).
- KPI strip — posts, engagement rate, reach, and engagement, each with a period-over-period delta arrow.
- Best time to post — the top five day × hour slots ranked by average engagement from your history, each with its reason ("Avg N engagement · M posts"). Needs ≥5 published posts; hours are UTC. This is a data ranking, not an AI feature.
- Content mix — average engagement by post type.
- Top posts — your five best posts by engagement in the window.
- Posts grid — every post in the window as a card with its counts.
Post detail
Clicking any post opens a detail page: full media viewer (video plays inline),
the complete engagement grid, caption, and platform-gated actions — Like /
Unlike (X, Instagram), Delete (removes the post on the platform, with
confirmation), and View on {platform}. Prev/next arrows step through the
same filtered list.
Export & the ⋯ menu
- Download CSV — the account's insights for the window (up to 5,000 rows): caption, all metrics, and timestamps, ready for a spreadsheet or BI tool.
- Optimize profile — the profile optimizer: an AI review of the account's bio, display name, and username. Each suggestion shows current vs. suggested side by side with a reason, and you apply suggestions individually. Applies to your post.buzz account record (so agents and AI surfaces use the improved identity).
- Writing style — the per-account personality editor (see brand & personality).
How data arrives
- Meta platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Threads) push insights via webhook and are backfilled on sync.
- Other platforms are polled and backfilled per account.
Metrics can lag by hours to a day depending on the platform; the freshest available value is always shown. AI analysis actions (optimizer, analyzer) draw from your plan's monthly AI-action allowance.
