Publish your first post
Create one post for one or more connected channels. This guide follows the composer from choosing a format to checking its publishing status.
Before you begin
- Connect a channel to your team.
- Prepare a caption and any images or video you want to include.
- Check your destination’s supported formats and media limits.
For your first attempt, use one channel. Add more destinations once you are comfortable with its requirements.
1. Choose your format
Open Compose from your workspace. Choose a post type, such as a regular post, carousel, or reel. Available formats depend on your channels. Threads include an additional step for their content.
2. Add your media
Upload images or video, or select files from your media library. Arrange the files in the order you want them to appear.
Media requirements vary by platform and format. The composer checks file size, file count, aspect ratio, and other supported constraints. Use the platform reference for detailed limits rather than assuming the same file works everywhere.
3. Select your channels
Choose the connected accounts that should receive this post. You can combine different platforms in one post. Channels that cannot publish the selected format are disabled with a reason.
4. Write and review
In Validate, write your base caption and review each channel’s preview. Use Generate if you want an AI suggestion based on your attached media.
Use per-channel overrides to tailor a caption for one destination without creating a separate post. For example, shorten the text for X while keeping a longer version for LinkedIn.
Complete any extra fields your destinations require, such as a subreddit for Reddit, visibility for YouTube, or privacy settings for TikTok. Resolve the reported validation errors before continuing.
TikTok and YouTube require additional publishing settings. Publish now and Schedule remain unavailable until the required checks pass. You can still save your work as a draft.
5. Choose when it goes live

| Schedule | Queues it for your chosen date and time. Check the timezone before confirming. |
| Save draft | Keeps the post for later without publishing it. |
Scheduled posts appear in the calendar, where you can review the queue and reschedule them.
Check your result
Open Posts and select the post to review its status for each channel. A successful submission may still need platform processing before it appears publicly. Analytics sync later as each platform reports them.
If a channel fails
Open the post details and read that channel’s error message. Fix the reported issue, reconnect the account if permissions have expired, and retry the failed destination. Review which channels succeeded before creating another post.
