Brand profiles, goals & personality

An agent is only as good as the context it's given. post.buzz has three steering surfaces that tell an agent who to sound like, what to aim at, and how this specific account behaves.

Brand profiles

A brand profile captures the company-level context an agent (or any AI feature) draws on when writing for you:

  • Company & industry — who you are and what space you're in.
  • Audience — who you're talking to.
  • Voice — tone, register, and style.
  • Do's and don'ts — hard rules ("never use emojis," "always include a CTA").

The brand profile is the single source of truth for voice across posts, captions, and agent output. Update it once and every AI surface picks up the change.

Goals

A goal is a measurable target an agent works toward:

  • Type — followers, engagement, or reach.
  • Target — the number you're aiming for.
  • Deadline — when you want to hit it.

Goals feed into agent decision-making alongside insights and the best-time-to-post data, shaping cadence and content choices.

Account personality

Personality is per-account voice — distinct from the brand profile, which is company-level. An account personality captures how a specific channel behaves (for example, a playful TikTok vs. a formal LinkedIn). post.buzz can extract a personality from an account's existing posts, so you don't have to write it from scratch.

LLM configuration

By default, all AI runs against post.buzz's managed inference backend. If you'd rather use your own provider, you can configure a custom LLM endpoint (base URL, model, API key) per user — the agent and chat features will route through it instead.
